Share your secret confessions, hopes and dreams at INSIDE/OUT, where performance artist Laura Barnett invites you to confidentially “air your dirty laundry” right on Broadway as she transforms the city sidewalk into an interactive confession booth. In the same window, INSIDE/OUT’s Sandra Spannan, makes the street her art studio as she paints individual portraits of New Yorkers through the glass. As pedestrian and artist lock eyes through the window, there is curiosity on both sides until they nod in silent agreement and the portrait session begins.
